Back to Plant Love House
‘Nauts!
We hope you had a good Valentine’s Day and hopefully with someone who has the courage to come to a Gastronauts dinner…. If not, don’t worry. It can be just your little thing. Its been a while since we’ve seen each other.
And, it’s been a while since we had us some of Mama’s delicious plant love. We sent Valentine’s Day flowers to her plant love house, but they came back, wrong address. It turns out Mama’s plant love house has moved— from Elmhurst to Prospect Heights. But, Mama loves us no matter where she is.
No, Plant Love House is NOT a den of Vegetarian Erotica. It’s a tiny little Thai restaurant run by Mama and her daughters. It also serves some of the bestddamn Thai food we’ve had in the city including a scalding soup of fresh pork blood; pork belly, crab and pork, wings and waterbed paste. Sorry, that’s waterbag paste. Whatever. It’s not exactly street food classics, but it’s what the kids are eating in Bangkok these days…
So bear in So join us for some of Mama’s waterbed plant love house love. It’s going to be phenomenal.
