A Gastronauts Scavenger Hunt
“Oh, the places you’ll go! There is fun to be done!
There are points to be scored. There are games to be won!”
— Dr. “Xius”
Psssst, Nauts:
We’ve got a secret. And you’ve got a secret mission
After weeks — make that months — of planning, we’ve finally come up with a game and a location, worthy of Gastronauts. Call it a labor of love, call it an excuse to explore the wild corners of New York, call it a Saturday afternoon you’ll be talking about for years. Either way, we are proud to present to you the very first:
Gastronauts Scavenger Hunt.
This is no ordinary hide-and-seek tour. This isn’t even a go-take-a-picture-of-some-tripe trip through Queens. This is a secret-decoder-ring, multi-lingual, backroom-tofu-eating, dumpling-sumpt’ing, underground adventure.
With the help of Joe diStefano and his insane knowledge of everything there is to eat and see in Queens — and our new friends at Interactive Escapes — we’ve stitched together our own little game of Clue. Except our parlor is Flushing, no one dies (we hope), and the dinner party comes at the end.
We’d love to tell you more, but you’ll just have to wait and see… All you need to know is that it’s this Saturday, the 27th at 1pm. Location to be revealed later…
This is a race, a brainteaser, a spelling bee, and a taste of Flushing. What could go wrong? Get your game on and join us for the most unique Gastronauts yet…
