A Dinner at Taco Santo

Hola, Nauts!

Way back in the bitterly cold winter of 2007, much like this one, winter frost-bit us in the face and we went looking for some warmth, to Harlem to find us some taco heat. We scouted a lot of places, also several African restaurants, and were patted down entering a taco/karaoke/foam party bar. Yes. Patted down. We did find lingua, pigs ear, and other assorted tacos, and a wholelotta hot sauce.

Once again, winter’s frosty fangs have us by the co*****es, amigos, so this time we’re going sud to go sud de border. But, beware, this ain’t your average taco-fiesta. These mamas come loaded with goat head, cow tongue, pig skin, and other amazing deliciousness. There will be chapulines and of course tripe. There will be pitchers of beer.

Oh yeah, and we’re throwing in five delicious Mezcal tequilas for you to wash down the crunchy meat pockets. Uh huh. Cinco delicious tequilas. Just remember, tequila makes you do stuff. You know… memorable stuff (well, others will remember…)

So, join us for an evening at Taco Santo, our good friend Jacques’ new taqueria for some mmm mmm Mexican meat bags and beer. It’s a small place, so we’re going to do two seatings: 6:30pm–8:30pm and a second 8:30pm to 10:30pm.
