Sawadee Nauts!
As we learned with last month’s dinner, sometimes it’s hard to tell things apart. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it could clearly be a horse taco. And if you’ve ever spent one night in Bangkok, well, then anything goes. Just remember to look for the Adam’s apple.
It’s been a long time since we’ve ventured to Southeast Asian shores and this month we’ve got some late night soul food, Thai-style. When the bars close down on the other side of the world, the food carts come out, and so do the critters. Whether it’s roasted larvae or fried bugs, the Thais know that a good helping of protein is the perfect hangover cure. Either that or it’s the perfect inducement to get that alcohol out of your system the way it came in.
But we know you’re tougher than that. And deep in the heart of Jackson Heights we’ve lined up a phenomenal late night orgy of hot, sour, salty, and sweet. Of course, if you’re feeling a bit squeamish about downing a minty salad of red ant eggs, there’ll be enough Chang and Singha to make you forget all about it by morning.
So, RSVP quickly, and join us, for a little spring fling in Queens – we’ll leave the karaoke machine on late. Be quick about it, it’s a small place and seats will go fast.
