A Dinner at Cannibal
Gastronauts!
“We’d like to speak to the head Cannibal.”
“Speaking.”
To be filed in the category of Things I Thought I’d Never Say, that’s basically how our first phone call with our next restaurant went. We promise we discussed pig’s heads thereafter, not human ones. And Lamb Heart Tartare.
What can we tell you about our next dinner? In case you havent figured it out yet, we’ve been invited into the back room of one of our favorite places, Manhattan’s The Cannibal, that phenomenal gastro-beer-pub.
And the menu? Damn. Damn. DAMN! We’re going to have General Tso Pig’s head. And then, the chefs are taking us on a extra special, just-for-us tour of their deepest darkest food fantasies—and given the name you can probably imagine how deep that rabbit hole goes. They’re making a special menu. Just. For. Us. We’re talking tartare, chicken hearts, and pork blood pasta…. Some of the dishes may find their way onto their new fall menu, if we like them. Some of them are just for us.
So, pork bloody hell, RSVP faaaaaaast and get ready for some phenomenal food and take this last chance of the summer to put on your best summer threads and finally ask out that date you’ve been wanting to impress.
