Yewande Komolafe cooks for the 'Nauts

Yo Gastronauts!!
This month we’re up to something really special. We are teaming up with our favorite secret supper club The Whisk & Ladle and a kickass Nigerian chef and recipe developer Yewande Komolafe to put together a one-of-a-kind Nouveau Nigerian Gastronauts dinner for us. This is someone who’s worked in kitchens ike Momofuku Milk Bar, developed hundreds of recipes for James Beard Foundation, Bon Appétit, Saver, and Maple, and created a dinner series in response to recent politics called “My Immigrant Food is…” All of this at a lovely table for 25 in a secret Brooklyn hipster loft hosted by the Whisk & Ladle. The price tag will be a little higher: we were able to persuade Yewande to cook for us by making this a fundraiser for the low-income women-focused kitchen incubator La Cocina San Francisco. But this will be oh-so-worth it. So, text your favorite dinner companion, lay out your tropical party dresses and blazers, polish your wingtips and sharpen your high heels. We are partying Nigerian style, so dress to impress. This one will be phenomenal.
