A Special Gastronauts Birthday
Gastronauts!
This March, we’ll be celebrating our 20th anniversary at a pretty special place. For that, we need a pretty special crew. You’re receiving this because either you’re one of the original Gastronauts or we just like you better than most.
We’d love to have you join us for an out-of-town adventure.
Just up the Hudson River in New Paltz, there is a magical place called Bobo’s Farm that serves Mongolian and deeply authentic northern Chinese food. How deeply authentic, you ask? Well, they dug a hole in the ground to roast a whole lamb, covered in mustard seed, as the centerpiece to an extraordinary array of dishes. And we’ll be eating all of it in a yurt, together.
We’ll stuff ourselves silly, reminisce about some of the great meals these past 20 years and how much younger we looked back then, and probably put away a few bottles of Mongolian moonshine. There might be a surprise guest or two. We may even rent a house up there so we don’t have to roll back to the city late on Saturday night after hitting the best worst bar in New Paltz. We shall see; we’re still young.
We will celebrate and eat like we have for the last 20 years.
