Fred’s Vietnamese Nhậu Gastronauts at Nhà Mình

Nhậu Nhậu, Gastronauts!

Have you ever seen crowds of Vietnamese sitting together on street side stools, drinking and eating spreads of dishes long into the humid night? That tradition is called Nhậu — Vietnam’s answer to “let’s hang out together, eat and drink lots, open another round, and see what happens.”

This month’s outing isn’t just a dinner—it’s a ritual. A hang out. And our favorite Vietnamese chef, Fred, is inviting us over for some nhậu time—lots of beer and small dishes with big flavors, things you don’t usually see, and definitely don’t want to eat alone. Definitely food that makes more sense after the second beer.

So come join us for the first Gastronauts of spring. Fred is in charge. Which is either great news or terrible news. Either way, you don’t want to miss this one.
