Yummy Yemeni Lamb Heads

Gastronauts!

When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. And when you’re the Gastronauts, you procure and make lamb heads. We kinda prefer the second option….

Long story short, our August dinner fell through, but with a little bit of scrambling and help from our new best friends at Yemen Cafe on Atlantic, we are doing this month’s dinner a little late, on Tuesday, September 1st.

The good news is, we’re heading back to a favorite spot in Brooklyn for a gorgeous dinner involving bubbling clay pots with tender chunks of lamb, liver, kidneys, slow roasted Hanneeth, and, yes, deliciously slow-cooked lamb heads. We’ve been guests at the Yemen Cafe before and trust us you will leave with a smile on your lamb face.

You won’t, however, leave drunk, alas, because there’s no alcohol at the Yemen Cafe. For that, we’ll go for a drink after, and the aptly named The Brazen Head for a night cap.

So, friends! Head out to Atlantic Avenue with us for some yummy, Yemeny lamb heads and something brazen after!
